#TogetherWeAreStronger
Clean Hydrogen Epicenter for Morocco & Africa

Go For Hydrogen Africa (GFHA), the first joint venture under the CBC #TogetherWeAreStronger Consortium & Ecosystems in Morocco, serves as a strategic Clean Hydrogen Epicenter for Morocco and the African continent.
Formed through a joint venture with Chinese hydrogen pioneer GuoFuHee, European and local Moroccan stakeholders, and partnerships with global leaders from the CleanTech, finance, and investment sectors, GFHA is built on the #TogetherWeAreStronger spirit. Its distinctive collaboration model prioritizes partnership over competition, driving collective progress and accelerating innovation in the clean hydrogen industry.
With its headquarters, warehouse, service, and O&M center in Mohammedia, GFHA’s mission is to develop the entire clean hydrogen value chain—from hydrogen production and storage to mobility solutions and beyond—through close cooperation with its global network of partners.
Leveraging over 20 years of CBC’s global trusted network and expertise in CleanTech, finance, investment, and industry innovation, GFHA is well-positioned to attract key international industry players, financial institutions, and investors.
The venture is dedicated to fostering a robust ecosystem through joint R&D, human capacity building, and technological partnerships. Its long-term vision includes establishing a manufacturing hub producing “Made in Morocco” clean hydrogen equipment, such as electrolysers, hydrogen storage, liquefaction and refueling systems, as well as related CleanTech and Clean Water equipment and solutions.
GFHA’s ultimate goal is to position Morocco as a global leader in clean hydrogen and sustainable energy innovation, driving economic growth and fostering prosperity across Africa. This vision aligns with Morocco’s national energy strategy and the broader global transformation to a low-carbon economy.
Building Together The Clean Hydrogen Ecosystem

“Go For Hydrogen Africa (GFHA), marks a pivotal moment for the clean hydrogen transformation in Morocco and across the African continent. We anticipate that Morocco alone will require 50 GW of electrolyser capacity to meet the country's clean hydrogen ambitions, with Africa requiring over 100 GW.
Morocco has a tremendous opportunity to become “the Continental Hub of Clean Hydrogen,” not only for production and export but also as a manufacturing center for clean hydrogen equipment, including electrolysers, hydrogen storage systems, refueling stations, and other renewable energy technologies such as solar panels, wind turbines, and battery storage systems. This can position Morocco as one of the leaders in the global clean and renewable hydrogen economy.
Clean hydrogen holds immense potential to drive economic growth and foster prosperity in Morocco and across the African continent. We firmly believe that the clean hydrogen transformation is not about competition but about collaboration. By working together with other industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers, we can accelerate this transformation and create a sustainable future—because #TogetherWeAreStronger!
