The CleanTech Business Club’s (CBC) leaders were among the distinguished participants at the Monaco Hydrogen Forum 2024, the world’s leading event in hydrogen mobility.
Held under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the forum gathered key industry players from all continents, reinforcing Monaco’s ambition to become the centerpoint of the hydrogen mobility revolution.
These efforts are being driven by the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance, which is spearheading initiatives to accelerate clean hydrogen adoption in transportation.

The event was officially opened by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, who delivered a keynote speech highlighting Monaco’s commitment to sustainable mobility. A defining moment of the forum was when the Prince personally test-drove the Pioneer 25 race car from Extreme H, showcasing the potential of hydrogen-powered mobility in high-performance applications.
Monaco Prize for Innovation in Renewable Hydrogen and Transportation 2024
One of the forum’s key highlights was the Monaco Prize for Innovation in Renewable Hydrogen and Transportation 2024. This prestigious challenge aims to identify innovative and scalable technologies that can accelerate the adoption of renewable hydrogen across the transportation sector. Participants were evaluated based on the scalability, viability, and impact of their solutions. Importantly, application for the prize is free of charge, and finalists receive free participation in the Monaco Hydrogen Forum, ensuring that cutting-edge innovators from around the world can showcase their breakthroughs.

This year, the award was presented to Thomas Korn, CEO of Water Stuff & Sun and Co-Chair of the CleanTech StartUP Hub at CBC, for his company’s pioneering SFEERs technology. Powered by a silicon-based MEMS chip, this breakthrough innovation is revolutionizing hydrogen storage and distribution, offering unparalleled safety, flexibility, and efficiency—key elements in advancing clean hydrogen infrastructure worldwide.
The Monaco Hydrogen Forum continues to be the premier global platform for hydrogen mobility, driving high-level discussions, fostering collaborations, and reinforcing Monaco’s leadership in the clean energy transition.
Congratulations to H.S.H. Prince Albert II for his unwavering support of the hydrogen revolution, to the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance for an outstanding organization, and to Thomas Korn and the Water Stuff & Sun team for their groundbreaking contribution to the future of hydrogen! ⚡
We look forward to collaborating on the Monaco Hydrogen Forum 2025 to further advance the clean hydrogen transformation #TogetherWeAreStronger
